HistoryThe business was started in 1951 by "Dud" Faulk's father, Clarence "Patin" Faulk.
In 1951, we began to make trade shows and personal appearances. After winning the International Duck Calling Championship and twice winning the World Champion Goose Calling Championship, in the early '50s and '60s, the business really began to grow.
"Dud" Faulk was the subject of several articles on hunting and game calling in national magazines such as Sports Afield, Field & Stream, Ducks Unlimited and many others. He appeared on national television doing spots as a contestant on the old TV show "To Tell the Truth," subject of itnerview by Grits Gresham on the TV show Sports Afield, and hunting partner with Burt Reynolds on "American Sportsman."
Being an accreditable judge, he was involved with all aspects of game calling competition. He was sponsor and instructor at game calling seminars, local high schools, as well as Louisana State University.
As a lifetime sponsor of Ducks Unlimited, he guested numerous times at DU Banquets, and donated door prizes very generously to the DU cause, and this tradition continues today.
Here at Faulk's we believe in quality products. We continue to maintain the quality we have been known for since 1951.
We are internationally known and still your complete source for quality, craftsmanship and service.
